
Frances D'Alessio
Managing Director | Regional Director | Northeast United States
Frances D'Alessio is a managing director of Thornburg Investment Management; she oversees the institutional client service and sales efforts for the Northeast United States. Frances is also a regional director with Thornburg’s institutional group, covering the Northeast United States.
Prior to joining Thornburg, she was employed by Lord Abbett as a client portfolio manager for its large-cap value and multi-cap value institutional client service group. Before that, she was a senior portfolio specialist for Lord Abbett’s large-cap SMA strategy, having joined the company in 1997 as a client relations manager. As a client portfolio manager, she was responsible for managing and servicing 40 institutional clients with over $1 billion in total assets. Prior to joining Lord Abbett, Frances was employed by Merrill Lynch as a district account associate.
Frances earned an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management, with honors; an MA in international affairs from Drew University in Madison, New Jersey; and a BA in political science from William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey. Along with membership in 100 Women in Finance, Frances serves as a member of the SITE Santa Fe Foundation Council (SITE is a contemporary art museum featuring innovative works by renowned artists). Frances is currently registered with FINRA with a Series 7, 6, 24, 63, and 65.
