Joe Salmond is an associate portfolio manager for Thornburg Investment Management. He joined the firm in 2018 as an equity research analyst and became an associate portfolio manager in 2021.
Joe earned an MBA from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University and graduated from Arizona State University with a BS in technology management. Prior to joining Thornburg, Joe served as both a Weapons of Mass Destruction and an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team Leader in the U.S. Army.
