
Joseph Feloney, CAIA, CIMA
Head of Strategic Relationships
Joe Feloney is the head of strategic relationships for Thornburg Investment Management. He is responsible for leading home office efforts designed to further partnerships with Thornburg’s intermediary distribution partners.
Previously, Joe was a managing director at Jackson with the specialized Private Wealth & Trust team. Prior to that, Joe was the head of private wealth management, sub-advised, and investment-only divisions for Columbia Threadneedle Investments. In this role, he led the private banking, RIA, defined contribution, and insurance-focused teams. Before that, he was responsible for offshore activities in Europe and Japan. In addition to a variety of business development and relationship management roles, Joe has held senior-level financial and operational roles, including interim chief financial officer for one of the Columbia Threadneedle Investments legacy firms, which he joined in 1987.
Joe received a B.S.B.A. from Northeastern University and an MBA with a concentration in finance and investments from Bentley College. In addition, he holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst and Certified Investment Management Analyst designations.
