
Leah Swanson
Director of Strategic Relationships and Managing Director
Leah Swanson is director of strategic relationships for Thornburg Investment Management. She joined the firm in 2015 as a strategic relationships manager and was promoted to her current position as well as appointed managing director in 2021. Leah currently serves as the chair of Thornburg’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee.
Prior to joining Thornburg, Leah was a principal and director of operations for Palace Capital Management. Before that, Leah was vice president of marketing at Thornburg Mortgage, Inc. from 2001 through 2009. She has also held sales and marketing positions at Thornburg Foundation Realty and Thornburg Investment Management. Leah graduated with a BA from Cornell University and is currently registered with FINRA with a Series 7 and 66.
